1984: Billy Ocean started a two week run at #1 on the Billboard singles chart with "Caribbean Queen". The song was recorded under different titles for different parts of the world, resulting in versions such as "European Queen" and "African Queen".

1974: "You Haven't Done Nothin" becomes Stevie Wonder's fourth US number one single. The record, on which Stevie was joined by The Jackson 5, topped both the Billboard and Cash Box charts.

1966: With "Good Vibrations" at the top of the UK chart, The Beach Boys kick off the first of seven sold out shows at Finsbury Park Astoria in London, England. Over 600 city buses were adorned with posters announcing their arrival.

1975: Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" was released as a single. It would stay on the chart for seventeen weeks, nine of them at number one and would eventually go Platinum. The song would be re-released in December, 1991 after being featured in the movie Wayne's World and became a hit all over again.
