1966: Bobby Hebb saw his own composition, "Sunny", become the best selling single in America when it reached the top of the Cashbox chart. The tune has been covered by dozens of other artists, but none achieved the success of the original.

1976: Donna Summer groans and sighs her way through her erotic Disco hit "Love To Love You Baby" on American Bandstand. Even though the song reached #2 in America, Donna later admitted that she was not completely sure of some of the lyrics, and parts of the song were improvised during the recording.
