1969: The music / comedy trio, Scaffold, which included Paul McCartney's younger brother Mike, led the UK singles chart with a novelty tune called "Lily The Pink". Elton John, along with Graham Nash of The Hollies, contributed backing vocals and Jack Bruce of Cream played bass guitar.
